Compost tea is liquid organic fertilizer for foliar applications. It is an essence of bulky compost extracted in water under aerobic conditions. It is an effective source of plant nutrition, particularly for vegetables and nursery plants. Compost tea has the potential to become a marketable product after further enhancing its nutritive value. The scientists of S&ESD are making efforts to enhance its nutritional value to transform it into a valuable liquid fertilizer.
